Impact
At SEED, we are dedicated to building brighter futures through practical savings programs, financial education, and accessible technology. We envision a day when families have the assets they need to power their future. Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages with the resources and knowledge needed for long-term financial security and personal growth.
SEEDSaves: Child Development Account Program
Our SEEDSaves program provides Child Development Accounts (CDAs) for youth, supporting their educational aspirations and future financial well-being. We currently have 347 active student accounts, with an average of $500 saved for future educational needs. Through SEEDSaves, the nonprofit deposits funds into student accounts each month as participants achieve personal development goals. This method pairs asset-building with positive reinforcement, yielding tangible savings and proven benefits, such as higher college and trade school attendance and an increased sense of hope for the future.

ThriveTogether: Adult Matched Savings & Opportunity Program
Launching in Fall 2025, ThriveTogether is our newest program, tailored for eligible adults seeking to build assets and financial stability. While the program has already enrolled a third of its target participants, ThriveTogether is set to begin funding accounts soon. It combines personal financial education and development coaching with high-yield asset building: SEED will match participant savings 3 to 1. Participants will be able to use their funds for a variety of critical goals, including:
- Purchasing a primary residence
- Home repairs
- Higher education or trade school
- Starting a business
Our match incentive—tripling participant savings—multiplies each effort, accelerating progress toward life-altering milestones.
Financial Education
Over 60 students have completed the SEED Financial Education Curriculum, improving skills in budgeting, saving, and personal finance decision-making.
Accessible Technology
Our user-friendly online platform makes tracking personal development achievements easy for families and individuals. The platform is available in both English and Spanish, ensuring greater access for diverse communities.
Together, SEED programs are not just increasing financial assets—they’re transforming mindsets, raising expectations, and opening doors to opportunity for children, youth, and adults. Additionally, 44 students have received funds totaling over $500 each from the SEEDSaves program to support their college and career pursuits. Research shows that even modest educational savings—like those achieved through SEEDSaves—significantly increase college attendance and preparedness, helping close opportunity gaps for youth
